Meredith began her law career in 2005 with the law firm and has continued to work primarily with school districts since that time. She practices in the areas of school and employment law, with a focus on personnel matters, special education, and student matters. Meredith counsels school districts on employment related obligations arising from state and federal law. She also regularly advises clients on disability-related legal matters, including handling state and federal complaints, as well representation in due process hearings and related appeals. Meredith is also experienced in litigation defense of school districts and other public entities.

In addition to her work as an attorney, Ms. Seibert has several years’ experience working with school districts as a district-level human resources administrator, during which time she gained valuable insight regarding district operations and the day-to-day implementation of various employment-based state and federal laws.

Meredith is a double alumna of the University of South Carolina, where she graduated with a B.S. and B.A., with honors from the Honors College, followed by a J.D. from the School of Law. When she is not working, you can find Meredith on a soccer field, at a music concert, or curled up with a book.
